D-Med Rewards — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the D-Med Rewards Program (“Program”) offered by D-Med Pharmacy. By registering for or using the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Eligibility
1.1 The Program is open to individual customers aged 16 and older.
1.2 Membership is free. No purchase is required to join.
1.3 Each customer may create only one Rewards account.
- Registration & Account Use
2.1 Customers must register through the D-Med Pharmacy website to participate.
2.2 Upon registration, members will receive access to an online Rewards Dashboard displaying their accumulated points.
2.3 Members are responsible for maintaining accurate personal information on their profiles.
2.4 D-Med Pharmacy is not liable for lost access credentials, misuse of accounts, or unauthorized access.
- Earning Points
3.1 Points can only be earned on eligible in-store purchases.
3.2 Points are NOT awarded on:
- Prescription medication
- Chronic medication
- Schedule medication
- Purchases paid for using medical aid
- Any items or services specifically excluded by D-Med Pharmacy
3.3 Points Calculation:
- Customers earn 5 points for every R10 spent, equivalent to 50 points for every R100 spent.
- Each 50 points = R5 redeemable value.
- Points are calculated on the total eligible amount paid after discounts.
- Points cannot be earned on delivery fees (if applicable).
3.4 To earn points, customers must submit:
- Purchase date
- Slip/invoice number
- Any additional required fields
3.5 Points are only allocated after D-Med Pharmacy verifies the submitted purchase. Verification may take up to 24 Hours.
3.6 D-Med Pharmacy reserves the right to decline or reverse points if:
- Submission details are incorrect
- The receipt is illegible, duplicated, or fraudulent
- The purchase does not meet eligibility rules
- Points Value & Expiry
4.1 1 point has no cash value and cannot be converted to cash.
4.2 Points may only be used as a discount towards eligible in-store purchases.
4.3 Points can be accumulated without expiry.
- Redeeming Points
5.1 Points can only be redeemed in-store at D-Med Pharmacy.
5.2 To redeem points, members must:
- Visit the pharmacy
- Log into their online account
- Present their current points balance to staff at checkout
5.3 Points may not be used towards:
- Prescription or chronic medication
- Medical aid–covered purchases
- Excluded items defined by D-Med Pharmacy
5.4 D-Med Pharmacy may request identification for security verification before redemption.
- Returns & Adjustments
6.1 If a product purchased with points is returned:
- Points redeemed may be forfeited
- Cash refunds will not be given for point-based portions
6.2 If eligible purchases are refunded, points earned from that purchase will be reversed.
- Member Responsibilities
7.1 Members must ensure purchase submissions are truthful and accurate.
7.2 Attempted fraud or abuse of the Program will result in immediate removal and forfeiture of points.
7.3 Members must maintain secure login information.
- Program Changes & Termination
8.1 D-Med Pharmacy may modify the Program, point structure, rules, or rewards at any time with or without notice.
8.2 D-Med Pharmacy may terminate the Program at any time. If this occurs, members will have 30 days to redeem remaining points.
8.3 Continuation of membership after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
- Privacy & Data Protection
9.1 Personal information is collected solely to operate the Program.
9.2 D-Med Pharmacy complies with South African POPIA regulations.
9.3 Data will not be sold to third parties.
- Limitation of Liability
10.1 D-Med Pharmacy is not responsible for:
- Technical issues
- Lost submissions
- Incorrect account information
- Unauthorized use of accounts
10.2 The Program provides no guarantees, warranties, or financial commitments beyond the value of earned points.
